This Week's Headlines - July 8

A 24-hour delay didn't keep the crowds away from Brown County High School's football field Sunday, July 5, to watch the annual Lions Club fireworks program. Postponed a night by rain, the fireworks performance began a little before 10 p.m. and lasted nearly 45 minutes. Above, spectators fill the hillside next to the school administration building to enjoy the show. (Staff photo by Rodney A. Margison)
