The Brown County Council is slated to hear a report on the state of the Brown County Economic Development Commission this Monday, April 16 at 6:30 p.m. in the County Office Building.
The report has been compiled solely by new EDC member and county council appointee to the board, Evan Werling.
Also on the agenda:
l Brown County EMA requests an additional appropriation of $17,000 to purchase a new vehicle.
l The Brown County Sheriff’s Department requests an additional appropriation of $11,977.60 to help pay for a new Animal Control vehicle.
l The Brown County Sheriff’s Department requests an additional appropriation of $79,461.75 to purchase three new vehicles outright for the deputies.
l Mary Fouch, representing county fire departments, requests $40,000 to purchase new radios. The state has mandated narrowbanding -- which will make some radios outdated -- by January 2013.
