FREETOWN -- At about 6:10 p.m., EMS, Van Buren first responders and Brown County sheriff's officers were called to State Road 135 South for a report of a motorcycle accident and two people with head injuries. The accident was first reported to be at Houston Road, then at Spurgeon's Corner, but responders found it over the Jackson County line near County Road 1100 North.
According to dispatch traffic, a medical helicopter is to land on the highway.
